Yesterday was a great day! A day spent by the pool catching some rays and reading a great book followed by a long chatty dinner with my sisters at our favorite restaurant until they kicked us out! ;)

& of course Anthropologie was on the way so we stopped to buy a little treat for my room!! 

my new knobs for my dresser in my room! hopefully now my dresser wont be as boring!

I'm moving into a new house in August! Praise the Lord! This new house is great, and ever since I found it.. I've been brainstorming decorating ideas. I'm leasing this house (because I'm a poor college student) so I am not 100% sure if I can make the walls have a touch of me. 


But if I can (or if I cant I'm saving all these ideas for when I'm married with a house of our own) I want wallpaper. 


Yes. I said it. Wallpaper. 


I was never a fan of wallpaper. I always thought it was stuffy and for old people. But lately I've been obsessed with fun, chic, girly, glamorous, and sometimes vintage looking wallpaper.

I've always had an obsession with nail polish & painting my nails. 

I paint them almost daily. 

{to match my outfit of course}

But Essie's Turquoise and Caicos keeps rocking my world. or fingers.

I dont want to paint my nails anything else but this all summer. 

It's a perfect combo of mermaid meets fashion.

Babysitting the 2 cutest kids last night & today! So far it's going smoothly.. 

I mean, if you consider this smooth. 

- Up all night with the 6th month old. 

- Huge fit over what side of the car they wanted to sit on 

- The 2 year old ate butter at breakfast 

- Then licked jam off of 4 pieces of bread

- The 2 year old spilt water allllll over himself 

- Lunch ended up being chewed then thrown on the floor

- the 2 year old went potty in the potty!!! (only once though) 

- And now everyone is asleep and taking a nap! 

yup. I'd say that it's been smooth sailing so far!! 

Honey, I'm home!

Hello there! It's been awhile but I'm back!

I'm completely exhausted and jet lagged so this post will be short and sweet! I will post more details throughout the next couple of weeks along with multiple pictures!! But until then, just know that words cannot describe how amazing, blessed, or fun the trip was! I'm actually sad to be home. I could live in South Africa for the rest of my life. I'm missing it like crazy this morning!
